The EWTN/CRA Catholic Radio Conference room block has been filled at the Wynfrey Hotel.  The special rate of $127.00 per night is no longer available to conference attendees.  Available room rates at Wynfrey Hotel begin at $199.00 per night.

 

Alternative lodging is available at Hampton Inn & Suites located 1/2 mile away from Wynfrey Hotel.  Special rate for EWTN/CRA conference attendees has been established at $125.00 per night.  CUT OFF DATE for this rate is October 1, 2008.  All attendees are responsible for own transportation back and forth to Wynfrey Hotel  (limited Hampton Inn shuttle service available to Wynfrey - please check with Hampton Inn management for details).

In an effort to keep travel costs as low as possible, we are strongly encouraging all conference attendees to take advantage of the considerably discounted room rate offered by the four-star Wynfrey Hotel. A limited number of rooms have been reserved for conference attendees at $127.00 per night and must be received by no later than 5:00 PM CT on September 15, 2008.

If you would really like to take advantage of this special rate and room availability at this conference venue you would be wise to make your reservation as early as possible. Once the EWTN room block is full (and it could be filled even BEFORE 9/15/08), all conference attendees will be subject to space and rate availability. The hotel does provide free shuttle service back and forth to the Birmingham airport which attendees must schedule directly with the Wynfrey. In addition, for all conference events taking place away from the hotel, there will be transportation available. This allows for considerable savings on car rental expenses for those who choose not to rent a vehicle.

The Wynfrey Hotel is located in Birmingham, Alabama. It is directly attached to the Riverchase Galleria which boasts 250 famous name stores, 20 restaurants and 10 theaters. It is 20 minutes from the Birmingham International Airport, 15 minutes south of downtown Birmingham, 15 minutes from EWTN's main campus in Irondale, and less than 10 minutes from Oak Mountain State Park, Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and many other local attractions.

Directions to the Wynfrey Hotel, Birmingham, AL

From Birmingham International Airport: Leaving the airport, take I-20 west through downtown Birmingham. At the  I-65 junction take I-65 South. At the I-459 junction take I-459 South. Exit off of I-459 South at Exit 13 (this is the first exit you come to). At the end of the exit ramp (traffic light), turn left. The Riverchase Galleria and The Wynfrey are immediately on your right. Take the 2nd entrance into the Galleria complex. This will bring you to the entrance of The Wynfrey Hotel. (Approximately 20 minutes)

From Atlanta: Take I-20 west to I-459 Junction (just east of Birmingham). Take I-459 South. Take exit #13 (Hoover-Pelham) off I-459 South. Turn Left. The Wynfrey Hotel is on the right, second Galleria entrance.
